Singer Ayo Balogun also called and widely known as Wizkid, has just opened up a very important informtion on an alternative career path he would’ve chosed if he wasn’t in the music industry.

He mentioned that he loved football and played so well that he made it in his school’s football team but could not achieve it as a career.

Ayo Balogun Nigeria popular afrobeat singer also hailed footballers and stated that he has some of them as friends, and he recommended their dedication to sports.

Afrobeats singer Wizkid, also said that if he was not a musician, he would have held on to becoming a footballer.

He also said he was part of his school’s football team. However, impatience did not allow him make a career out of the sport because he does not like to wake up in the morning.

In the interview shared by @itzbasito on X, Ayo Balogun said that he has footballer friends whom he parties with but they do not smoke or drink and they have to wake up by 6 am to train. To him, that was dedication.
